Painting the Ark at the Family Service in
the Community Centre at Little Brickhill
Family Services
A Family Service is held once a month in each of the four parishes. The general pattern is:-
-
1st Sunday: 11.00am alternate months Stoke Hammond Church and the Methodist Church
-
2nd Sunday: 11.00am Bow Brickhill Church
-
3rd Sunday: 11.15am Little Brickhill Church
-
4th Sunday: 11.00am Great Brickhill Church
The services take the form of All Age Worship using special benefice service sheets. The Family Services do not usually include Holy Communion but baptisms often form part of the service.
Special Family Services
There is usually a meeting to plan one of our Family Services each month - an open meeting for all those who would like to be involved in preparing the service. All are very welcome to come and take part. If you would like more information, or have any questions, please contact the Rector.
The next Special Joint Family Service is being held on Sunday 3rd July:-
"Holydays" in the Community Centre in Stoke Hammond at 11.00am.
Worship for families and all ages together. Followed by a Bring and Share Lunch

N.B. Please check the "Schedule of Church Services" at the bottom of the "Home" page or the "Calendar" for the exact details of the Family Services.
Sunday School
Sunday Schools have in the past been held in each of the parishes but at present none of the villages are able to offer a Sunday School facility due to a lack of leaders. If anyone feels that they may be able to help organise a Sunday School in the parish or for the benefice then the Rector will be pleased to hear from you.
Youth
Great Brickhill
A Youth Cafe meets at High Ash School during term time on Fridays from 6.30 - 9.00pm during which time much toast is consumed. "Youth for Christ" who are based in Aylesbury, provide excellent leadership, with volunteers also helping with the organisation. There is an Admission charge of £1. The Youth Cafe has the backing of the Parish Council who help with the funding.
