HOW TO MAKE DONATIONS TO THE CHURCH:-
For four months in 2019 there were no church services and then there were only a limited number of services being held across the Benefice. From 5th November church services were suspended again until the end of the lock down period on 2nd December. This was followed by the third lock down when church services were again suspended on 20th January until further notice.
With the reduction in church collections and the cancellation of fundraising activities church income has been severely reduced. The cost of maintaining the churches however remains the same. Some parishioners have made arrangements to continue their giving to the church via alternative means, for which we are extremely grateful.
If others would like to follow this lead, payments to the church can easily be arranged – the simplest way will be by a BACS transfer. Alternatively, a direct debit could be set up, or a cheque could be sent. Cash donations can be accepted if this is the only possible form of payment.
